We have plenty of room in our backyard to design and construct a new master bedroom. It would include a sauna, closet, bathroom, and perhaps a balcony if we elevate, which is my question. Our current home is all 1 story. Is it difficult to elevate just for the bedroom (altogether adding ~500 sq. ft) when the rest of the home is 1 story? The backyard land is all flat.
