This floor is a white oak with a gunstock finish. It can be challenging to mix and match flooring's from one space to another. We often try to stay as consistent as possible on each floor especially when rooms flow together. An imitation wood tile floor in the end may look like a bad attempt at trying to match the two floor surfaces. If you are firm on using a tile rather than hardwood that matches the pecan in the other areas, I would consider going with the different tile surface such as a stone look, but not too light so it offers a little contrast to the light cabinets and balances out the oil rubbed bronze hardware.
