Does design of drain cover effect how fast water drains? Is there a difference in foot comfort of one cover vs. another. We are having one installed in a walk-in shower but don't know placement yet. Thanks for your input.

Hi Lynda. Thanks for your question. It's more important to nail down placement and whether you would like to do a curbless zero-threshold shower. For a zero-threshold where the drain is placed along the entrance to the shower enclosure, we do not recommend linear drains with a tile-in cover or any of our models narrower than 65mm wide (38 and 25 Series e.g.: S-AG 38 or FFAS 25). All flow rates are listed on our website on the product pages. As for foot comfort, the grate styles are equal in comfort level.
