Was the top board flowing across cabinets on which lights are installed available at ikea?

    No, the top board that's between the IKEA Billy Bookcases is just a piece of MDF that I bought at Home Depot. I just found a 4x8 sheet that had the right thickness (3/4ths inch, I believe) and then cut and painted it black. It looks just like the IDEA bookcases - because that's exactly what they use to make the shelves.
