Help deciding on style for basement/man cave

Well, to start off long winded... I grew up/lived in Key West (21 years), and I am now living up North. I really miss it! I love the water, scuba diving, bright colors, etc. But, I also really like the dark, warm tropical feeling, sort of a personal jungle feeling... Anyways, I am redoing my basement (man cave) and am in a pickle as to what style I want to pick... Excuse the mess in the photos.

First style I really want to simulate

Second style

So, the primary focal point of this room is going to be a 550 gallon saltwater reef aquarium that is going to be in the middle of those two white pillars. SO my dilemma is, I have a reef aquarium with all these bright colors, how can I possibly even try to mold two styles like that together?

As for the fireplace, I am going to have the stucco'd and painted.

Is grasscloth (faux even) a viable option?

Please help me make up my mind!
