The stone was purchased at Stone Surfaces in East Rutherford-890 Paterson Plank Rd

I have it in my kitchen (island counter top) - white princess quartzite, and it does not etch or stain. The fabricator sealed it before installation, but I haven't touched it since, and it holds up really well (more than a year now).

I'm in NJ too...about how much is this typically, installed? We need about three slabs.

WE just bought this haven't had it installed yet - we needed two slabs for a total of 89 square feet in our kitchen and the whole job with installation and sealing is $6,000. We live in Montclair went with T & J Stone, they are doing job in a few weeks

Lauren - one idea we considered was going with black honed granite on the surrounding parts. Just a thought if you can't afford all quartzite in your space. The contrast is really cool! I will definitely be posting pics after this remodel!

There is a place called Sharon Stone Granite in Lakewood NJ. I have seen a number of my customers with beautiful quartzite from them. I know they have a fabrication shop in Newark as well. I referred a number of people already to them and they were all very happy with the stone and the price.

For those of you with the Super white (or light colored) quartzites, what do you use as a daily cleaner?

There is a line of stone care cleaning products made by MB Stone Care you can google them. I use some of their products designed for professionals and have been very happy with them. I always recommend my customers check out their products after I just refinished their marble or granite so that they can keep it looking good.

I'm on the CT shoreline and my price for 45 sf of white princess quartzite from Hartford Marble and Granite is 3150$ installed. This will be my 3rd countertop from them and they are fantastic!
