All these gorgeous glass showers - how do you keep the glass clean?

I referred to Houzz pictures for most of my bathroom remodel and I absolutely love it. The only problem is those giant glass panels on my new shower don't stay clean. I spend more time using the squeegee after my shower than I do showering, and they still show soap scum!!! I had Diamond Glaze applied (which I paid $350 for!) which repelled the water beautifully for about six weeks. What is the secret? I have tried so many products, but the water stains and soap scum show up brightly as soon as the sun shines into the bathroom through my new beautiful windows and skylights :(

Oh dear, I'm afraid the glaze you purchased is nothing more than glass sealer (like rain-x). Clean your shower thoroughly once, then apply glass sealer ($20) like car wax. Let it dry and wipe it off with a rag. From there you just squeegee occasionally. You reapply the sealer every 6-12 months. For tough spots you can use a micro-filament cloth or a good glass cleaner. Good luck.

Try Rain-x which helps to repel water then squeegee.

Have your water analyzed for mineral content, and then have it treated to remove the minerals that are leaving spots. And switch to liquid soaps.

Somehow I missed that VanGo Shower Glass had replied to my question until now :-( Thank you for taking the time to answer! My big question is HOW do I clean it before I apply the glass sealer, which I imagine would seal in all those water stains? I've tried everything (dawn and vinegar, dryer sheets, CLR, you name it) to get the water stains off and nothing seems to put even a dent in them.

My shower was put in in 2011, two people use it daily and practically no spots. We use only liquid soap, squeegee EVERY time and spray EVERY time with shower spray. We give it a real clean maybe twice a year with vinegar and microfiber. Really bad areas you can tackle with 0000 steel wool.
