    Hello ? ..

A sized floorplan showing where windows and doorways are would help. Also some idea on what style YOU prefer and colors. Budget is always a concern too. Do you currently have any pieces you plan to use in there.

I recommend a reading nook with bookcases on the wall, a chaise lounge in front of the bookcase facing the window and small table and table lamp next to the chaise. Imagine lounging on the chaise with a cup of tea, a good book on a snowy day.

HI -- What a great space and I see it all white . I think you should paint the window frames and the walls and the ceiling all the same white . Don't worry it will look like different shades because of the angles .Then have white sheers or semi sheers drapes on a simple black wrought iron rods with soft fold tops and cover the whole windows walls floor to ceiling and wall to wall . Then in that little alcove have two chairs with ottomans with a small side table and a floor lamp. Don't burden yourself with a chaise lounge because they are not as a adaptable as a separate chair .

-- Make this area a music center - even if you do not play an instrument. Maybe you will be inspired to take lessons?

Paint the extraordinary window wall a color - purple or gold. No window treatment. Add a white baby grand in window area. Into the room farther, add an area rug and a contemporary sofa/chairs group. Music themed artwork on the walls. Guitars on stands on the floor, etc.

You can turn it into a cute little study area.

hollywood glam , glitz of the 40's, what is the rest of the house like? Continuing with the purple color would not be neutral, go for it. Give us a little more info and we can jump all over this.

If there's purple on one side, maybe light teal and some caramel will do on this side. Chaises or piano? The windows scream Art Deco, by the way.

Love all the ideas. & yes I'm a little impatient :). in the middle of the living room wall as you can see there's a fireplace. I'll be putting the sofa (white) in front of it.
