Great question and bear with me as I am awaiting the answer from the homeowner!...that is a beauty. I know this couple saved a lot of money with the finishes in their new log home by obtaining a lot of materials and finishes at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

Ok, here we go. The below is the response from the homeowner. Pretty interesting.

    Antique Copper Tub Finish:
1.) Apply black paint (use whatever you have on hand).
2.) Sponge on copper metallic paint (I used craft paint I got at Lowe's).
3.) Add a few verdigris highlights.
4.) Wipe on a layer of Antiquing craft paint (also available at Lowe's).
5.) Reapply copper, verdigris and/or glaze as desired.
Let each layer dry completely or you'll start rubbing it up. Just keep going at it until you like the result. It's a process, but I like the way it turned out. I don't think I used any kind of sealer because I liked the dull look, but I guess it wouldn't hurt.
    Good luck!
