The cabinets are wrapped in Sapele and the counters are a quartzite product called Pentalquartz. The wood came from a fantastic lumber yard called Edensaw in Port Townsend, WA though most furniture grade lumber yards should be able to get it.

Would you mind confirming the distances between the surfaces in the kitchen/dining area? And if you wouldn't mind, the width of that space? Simply...I was provided such a boost of enthusiasm when I happened across this beautiful home. Much admiration from St Ives, Cornwall England.

The overall width of the room is a little under 19' there is about 4' between islands each of which is just over 9' long. from the end of each island to the wall or cabinet is about 43" and about 5' from the kitchen island to the dining room table.

What have you used for the backsplash? I am interested in finding tempered back-painted glass in the Seattle area. Btw, a really inspired kitchen.
