Hi,

Love the mirror. Do you know what color LED was used (in Kelvins)? Love the look!

Hi, thank you for your question and interest in dSPACE Studio. The color of light is 2,900K. We were able to create a clean edge by lighting the mirror from behind. This adds a bit of drama as the mirror appears to be floating. Hope this helps and good luck with your project! Be sure to check out more bathroom designs at www.dspacestudio.com.

Does the led light up enough m
To use without another light source over the mirror? I was thinking of using this technique instead of down lights over the vanity. Cheers Sas

Hello and thank your for your question. Yes the LED is bright, however it is always a good idea to incorporate multiple layers, or types of lighting. Face lighting is especially important in a bathroom. The pendant provides this type of light, while the LED behind the mirror provides more of an ambient mood lighting. If you were to look into the mirror without the pendant light on, your reflection would not receive the proper directional lighting to illuminate yourself since the LED's are projecting light vertically, and from behind the mirror. Good luck with your project!
