Ya done great...there is that one light hanging from the ceiling though:) Very polished and clean looking. 23-28" for counter height. I suggest you get backless ones so they tuck under. And, wow those corners scare me with a kidlet running around.

I agree with By Design....definitely back less but a small back will work and in those suggested colors....they have some that are adjustable in height...that way it will always be the right height! ;)

You did an amazing change, love the way the light is right now, the combination of the colors is pretty nice and modern, about the dining table you can add to the island tall red chairs i think it will fit nice.

This a such a wonderful modern update!

A pop of color would be my choice. It depends on your taste though :) nice job!

If you are going to use it as your main dining space, think comfort.
