this fireplace facing is beautiful- what is the product used? Only slate options I find are for black cleft or something and I would like to find slate or stone in the color shown here.

I hope this helps. I showed this picture to the persons who were doing my countertops in my kitchen and they said it would be very easy to do this for me out of what ever type of stone I found in their product line. You could use Granite, marble ..a suggestion was to look at some of their collection of short slabs or left over short pieces which if you notice it could be any shape because the top curve is made from a type of molding that curves. It appears to me to be to long pieces on the sides and a longer one on the top.
