Casement windows and insect screens

Hi all
All the windows in my new house are casement windows with long latch stays. They have separate insect screens on the inside that open inwards. I have two problems
1. If I only want to open the windows a small distance (which i do often because we have an evaporative air conditioner)I have to leave the insect screens off because the latch stay is too long. This means I can't leave the windows open at night because the mozzies get in.
And 2. Even if I'm happy to leave the windows completely open (which means I CAN close the fly screen) the mozzies get in when I close them at night because I need to open the fly screen to close the window. Aaaah!
What options do I have?

You should not need to touch the screen to open or close the window.

That is not the way a normal casement works. What brand are they? I doubt they will stay in business long enough to cover the warranty if they design a window like that.

Is it possible that the casement windows were installed backwards ? I wouldn't think so...highly unlikely...but i had to asked.

Ive done some research and have come to realise that my windows are different to the usual casement windows - My windows don't have winders on them. To open them I physically push them open which is why I need to remove the screens. Is it possible to retrofit winders?

That brings us back to my original unanswered question. What brand are they. Do you have a link that I can see what they are? Can you post a picture?

I don't know what brand they are (the house is about 7yrs old -recently purchased). Here are two pics. Pic 1Window all the way open. Fly screen in front. Pic 2 window partly open. Latch stay jutting into room. No fly screen.

I see. It would be best if you could find out who made them and if they have retrofit hardware. Casement hardware usually needs a hidden channel to give room for a track assembly. That is generally called a vent arm from what I can find. It almost looks like that should be able to work through a hole/ grommet in the screen, but it doesn't appear things are positioned for that in this case. It looks like an awning type lever may work in this case if you can figure out how to mount it and get the screen around it, but haven't found anything quite right yet.
