It's a rich country palette and looks very easy to clean! One thing to consider - the room in the pic is very monochromatic. Kitchens tend to be less varied in color schemes than other rooms (just cabinets and countertops to contend with), so if your furniture /walls / drapes / art elsewhere have more of a varied colour and texture scheme you might be happier with a more solid neutral floor. For instance, imagine that image with a floor colour that had more of a solid neutral light grey - it wouldn't clash with anything yet the contrast would make everything else pop more. A lighter floor also lightens up a room and makes it look bigger - the pic above looks like a generously proportioned room, possibly with more open floor space than some rooms would have.

p.s. Your Idea book is full of warm, inviting, perfectly balanced rooms with neutral solid colour floors. Beautiful wood and light tile for the most part. And they look great with everything!
