The wall mounting bracket for the handrail is actually standard plumbing pipe component that can be found at Home Depot or any large hardware store. It is a 3/4 inch floor flange. The rest of the handrail is made from standard plumbing components as well!

what did you use to hold the shelf

I used threaded rods for machinery to make the support for the shelf. The planks are held by nuts and washers (which is convenient for levelling the shelves)
