Sectional

I would like to purchase a sectional couch and have more seating options in my Great Room. How could I arrange a sectional or would it even work. I just painted my wall Urban Putty (which is iffy) and am getting new carpet next week, a neutral beige/brown color, Thatched Roof by Mohawk. I could recover my two chairs and keep them. Tired of my gold couch and needing to update my room.

I like your furniture plan as you have it now. The large couch and chairs look great.
A sectional doesn't really provide that much extra seating since no one really wants to sit that close together (take it from someone that has a sectional). Also, having a separate couch and chairs can provide variety in fabrics and color vs. having one large piece of furniture.

I would stick with chairs and couch of similar scale as you now have.
