I would lower the tv screen and then maybe put a plant on one side and call it good. I am ok without the plant even, as I like to watch tv without distractions on the wall and in the area. I see the tv screen as being the wall decor here.

I just feel like this is the main focal point in the room and when entering the home, and it is so boring. It needs a little spicing up.

If it were a solid wall with no doors, I'd suggest painting with an accent. Unless the TV is lowered, there really isn't room for art since art shouldn't hang above the door frames. The TV is also too wide for the stand beneath it. I'd look for a low credenza that would cover both outlets and set the TV on it. Then you will be able to do a gallery of art around it.

The colour of the wall is beautiful. I think you should draw fine creepers with leaves and flowers in white and suspend some imitation birds in front or line the wall with LED light series.

As a suggestion I attached a console that looks a little wider not sure of the dimensions between the electrical plugs but it would lower the TV and you can place some small mirrors above or around it so the television is not so much the focal point.

I don't usually like things around the tv but this will give you an idea of what a photo collage would look like on that wall with the tv.
