Here is his entertainment center. They dn cut holes in back for wires or mount the bottom but I still am very happy w it. If I want changes I will have to go do it myself(/ thanks Carolyn!!!!

You should be happy with it and hopefully John is, too! What a change in his room!!!

Donna, that's a vast improvement over what was there before and I'm sure that John appreciates the difference and his mom who made it possible. I hope you're able when you visit him to get the bottom piece wall mounted as we intended it to be.l

John told him he could meet him this week but the guy said he needed to check his schedule and get back to him. That dn sound right to me seems like he would know his schedule and that was yesterday.. Maybe I'm not being patient enough but they cause me concern since they did not call John with in the 72 hours timeframe they gave me in the first place. I'm sure it will work out eventually. When I find out that he has taken the measurements I will post an update.

Thanks Carolyn the sale ends in the beginning of May which is next week. I will call Tuesday morning if John dn have an appointment by the end of the day on Monday. Hopefully the guy will follow thru that would be great!!! Hope to have good news soon (:

Thanks kcooz07 that's probably the only way it will get decorated (: I'm going back to Austin this summer. Not sure when it depends on where my husband is when I get my summer break. Right now hubby is in Detroit. Also I just realized I'm running out of time and will have to start my dining room after summer because I don't want to start it then put it off to go be with my husband. Got to think about that. I have a guest room that I need help with and it should be a quick fix. I've been sick and I'm waiting to get better then I think I'll tackle that room. I'm sorry you've been sick and I wish you a speedy recovery. It was interesting how you liked the bright coral wall in the remodel I recently finished on our guest room. I know you're not usually a fan of a lot of color. Perhaps it's something you can admire in someone else's house but would not want to live with it yourself. Now there is something for you to think about while you're getting better.

Oh, no! Sorry to hear you have been sick. Do you have a good sub or do the kids just go without while you are gone? How much of your year is left? I have three weeks left with this job and while I love it a LOT, I am ready for summer vacation and no more lesson plans for a bit.

Hi Abbyjean!!! I haven't missed my children but I did take Friday off. The Head Start center was closed last week and so I did not have to see those children for Speech. If I miss I make it up sometime during the month. I really thought I would be better but it looks like I need to go to the clinic bc I'm not getting better. I have about 5 weeks left. I am like you ready for the summer break so I can see my husband and visit my sons (: you will be out in no time that's great!! Do you have special plans for the summer?

R AND R! Bike rides......ball games......grandkid time.......grilling on the deck......maybe a trip to TN to see my sis.....life is good!

The windows were measured today have to wait 24 hours then can order. I thought the lady said he could order from the guy that measured but I talked to the guy that measured Johns windows and he said I have to order from store . So happy that part is done yay!!

Just got off the phone ...John ordered the blinds. They will arrive mid May to the installer then they will set a date to install them. I'm very happy to have that done Yay!!!!

Update My son sold his house well it is not final. The people that are buying want the entertainment center (: (:(: When we started this project that was not his intent ....to sale his house(:(:(: thank you all soooo much because he said he knows the suggestions all of you especially Carolyn made helped sale the house . He still has to close but I think everything will go thru! IHe is moving to an apartment near downtown Austin sooooo I can still see Carolyn!!!!!!!!!!!

Gosh, I am looking at the dates and find it soooo hard to believe this was all a year ago, as it truly seems like yesterday! At least he got to enjoy this space that long and will have some great ideas for the new place now, too. Good luck to him on the closing and the moving....guess you get to help with that, huh?
