Use any colors except greens. Light grays, blues. Yellows often have green in them...so maybe not use them. It will be trial & error..bring items home and see how they look..day & night. All colors are affected by light.

This is the perfect example why I ALWAYS say to buy a paint sample..paint 2 coats on large poster boards and tape them to all walls and look at them in day & night light. It will save a lot of stress.

Thanks for the advice. So in general do you warm colors work best with intellectual grey? For instance blue with a lot of red in it?

Well blue would be a warm color. If you actually brought something green in, the walls look more gray. It's counter intuitive but it would work. Beige makes it look more gray too.

I have kitchen cabinets that are a very light gray, but they do have a very slight green undertone at certain times of the day. I want to paint the wall a slightly darker color to have them stand out more and neutralize the green hue. I am looking at darker gray with a strong blue undertone. It doesn't seem to make a difference. 'Any suggestions?
