Common Mixer+Diverter for 2 person shower vs independent plumbing?

Hi

We are looking to remodel our masterbath and put in a 2 person shower. Today there exists just a single person shower. We plan to raze the entire bathroom and put everything new. The 2 person shower will consist of 2 rain shower heads side-by-side on the wall (we got enough space) and 1 handheld shower.

Should I install a single pressure balanced mixing valve with a 3 port diverter to control operation across both the shower heads and handheld? Do all 3 port diverters come with shared positions as a standard? (I need A only, B only, C only, AB together operations as a minimum). We like the Grohe Eurocube faucets (19899000) - how do I find out if the Grohe Eurocube diverter (19799000) supports shared positions? Any other diverter options in this style/design? We want square/rectangle edges - no curve or circles.

OR

Install 2 independent shower systems with their own mixing valves? The shower with the handheld will need a 2 port diverter anyhow.
