My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Sorry, but this is a very awkwardly proportioned space. The ceiling is way too high and the shoji are very heavy looking. The approach seems to be that of someone who looked at a photo of an authentic sukiya space and asked a carpenter..."Hey, can you make one of these?"

    Maybe they were just making the best of an already existing space. I think it looks beautiful!
