If you hung a mirror, what would be reflected in it?

Hi! What about something like this? It is mirrored, but would break up the wall a bit:

This wall is opposite the living room so art over fireplace mantle would be the reflection. There are 3 box mirrors at the top of the stairs so maybe another mirror would be overload??

Paint the radiator same as wall or leave as is?

The artwork should have a three dimensional quality. This could include a painting on paper or a collage. But ideally, I would aim for something like a collection of origami objects framed in a shadow box or a Lichtenstein paper hat. Image attached here. The second image attached is a way of framing a painting on board that gives the artwork a 3-D quality. Feel free to ask me any additional questions via my art consulting website on Houzz.
