We are looking for good house plan design software and would welcome recommendations. We are working on renovation/addition plans and purchase a Punch product, as my husband successfully used an older version to design our cottage, even though we are not savvy software users. It's proving very difficult to use and I can't stand his cries of anguish every time it reverts his nice gabled roof to a hip roof for no reason when he tries to save his design. Does anyone have any ideas of a better software? Free or not too expensive would be best. We used a windows pc....
