Radiant heat is a much more even heat, after the mass is heated up it takes very little to keep the temperature stable. Forced air also makes a lot more dust we had forced air for years and now have radiant and love it. The only minus I guess is it takes longer to warm up a space with radiant heat once it has cooled down.

I grew up w/ radiant heat (from steam radiators). I always thought they were so ugly, and wished we had "modern" forced air. My first winter, out of my parents' house, I went from "can't remember how many years it's been since I had a cold" to "can't remember the last time I was well." If I were able to choose my heat, I would choose radiant, any day of the week.

Radiant heat is the best. It is most efficient, sustainable and It is the most comfortable to live with.

If you can put the coils in the floor, this is a great way to have the heat without the ugly radiators.

You can also cool using the radiant coils.
