Stone floor

I have this floor in my shower (called river rock), it's too porous... I just hope my lady friends understand this.
Beautiful bathroom.

Island Stone makes a similar product that is very beautiful- grout with Laticrete Permacolor for easier maintenance

What do you mean too porous. I live this look & feel on my feet. Concerned about maintenance, sealing requirements, how often & soap scum prevention. Any suggestions?

I've had my off white river rock shower floor for 5 years and no issues. Have not resealed it...

I also have river stone in my shower. Love the look and feel, but would not do it again. It is very difficult to clean all those crevices and does not look as beautiful as the day it was installed as a result. And yes, it has been sealed, and sealed and sealed...

I love this pebble stone floor and accent stripe but maintaining it mold free is paramount important !
