Grout Haze Issue...HELP

My contractor has finished my bathroom but there is some "Grout haze" on the floors...
The contractor told me a dry cloth will remove the haze, but it is not working...I have a honed, chiseled edge marble and I am afraid to put any chemicals on the floor. It has been about 3 weeks since the tiling was completed, anyone know how to remove the grout haze?

Tell your contractor to get back and fix it. This is why you hold back 10% on a job until you are happy.

Right some chemicals can stain marble. But there is a chemical I used on my marble mosaic to remove the haze but it's been a while and I don't remember exactly. The contractor should have done that for you.

There are haze removers out there. Buy one and try it in a hard to notice area. Your contractor should have sealed the marble ahead of grouting to aid in cleaning the grout off. Marble is hard to clean if it wasn't sealed properly.

PK Properties is correct. If the marble had been polished, removing the haze 24 to 48 hours later is not a problem. Yours is honed, and now, therefore a problem. It should have been sealed or all least, a "grout release" applied prior to grouting.

If you can't get your contractor back in, there is a product called "grout haze remover" you can find at Lowes. Get expert advice in sealing the marble, every marble is different and you can end up with a stained look instead of a good seal.
