I personally wouldn't go darker especially with the small window and dark furniture

It's part if the historical collection so it's a classic that woul look great with your furniture and not go too dark.

Thanks y'all - I hadn't thought it was dark because the curtains cover French doors, that open to a sunroom and are open all the time. I just pained most of my house SW Agreeable Gray which I think is a shade lighter than R/P. I'll go with the RP - thanks for sharing your thoughts.

It is my impression that there is too much furniture in this space and the scale of furniture is too large. Do you approach the foot of the bed when you enter the room? Can you rough out a floorplan? Is the bed a king? Can it fit on another wall? Would you consider wall hung lamps and elimination of bedside tables? Would you consider separating the dresser and mirror from each other? Would you exchange the large settee for a single chair, using the small table and lamp with it?
