First I don't think your coffee table looks wrong....with some pillows your couch and something colorful on the table it will look fine. Since I can't see more of your room....I have a couple of suggestions....the bookcase is too close to the end of the couch....maybe more it farther away. The TV looks scrunched in the corner.....move it farther toward the middle of that wall. Your art behind the couch would look better IMO, if you left the squarish art there and put the round on next to it...sort of centering them over the couch. You have a cute little blond girl!

Thanks for the ideas! What accent colors would you go with? The problem about the TV is that there is a big door right next to it, so it can't go anywhere farther from the corner.. Or else I'd move it, lol.

Hi, Add a brighter patterned rug. Not a solid or geometric but something with a large design. Pull the sofa away from the wall a few inches. Install a wall mounted lamp at the outside arm once you've moved the bookcase. Under the wall lamp add a side table. You might have more success adding a throw over the back of the sofa than pillows because pillows tend to travel on leather. Take the torch lamp out of the corner. Relocate the clock and the print and add some family photos or art with color. Grey, Green, Purple will add upbeat attitude.

Maybe you could try moving the sofa around so if faces the window and then put the bookcase in the corner. And then everyone on sofa can see the tv.

What should I put in the bookcase? It's kinda blah.
