I have a large family room approx 18ft by 24 ft long. The fireplace is in the corner , with 2 windows to its left overlooking the lake. The fireplace is an eye sore...should I paint it, and if so what color? Or frame it in in a light coloured wood? Over fireplace tv? Which would suit the seating better in the room , or a painting? I still like my tv sectional cabinet to the left of the F/p but not easy for couch tv watching ! I need expert help please!
