Should I install another chandelier or move the one I already have?

I have an open concept floor plan and recently switched my living and dining areas. I've decided to keep it this way. I thought about getting another chandelier for the dining area. I'm eyeing a nice looking drum pendant online but maybe it would clash with the existing fixture in the living area. Should I just move the light?

the honest answer here is, take the one that is hanging in the seating area. it is an awesome fixture but doesn't belong there. I would move to a semi flush fixture, and go with a drum style over your table, maybe some crystal to tie in w the classic style. Provided that your sprinkler head over the dining table allows you to hang something centered.

I'd go with the drum pendant it would complement your DR nicely. Get rid of the one in the LR

You could either do a larger single drum pendant for over the dining room table as pictured below in first picture, or you could consider doing two lights that would be different, and compliment each other as second picture.

I think drum pendant would b fine. I might would try hanging them at different heights, though. Can living room light b raised some?

I think that the fixture is hanging a little low over the seating area; I would definitely look at raising the height and changing it out. A new fixture over the dining area might spice it up a bit.

As for a drum pendant- it would compliment your space and chosen furnishings a bit more than what is there, I believe.

I think I'd move the fixture to over the table and do a large black or bronze drum shade in the seating area, hung almost flush. Really beautiful room!

I know u didn't ask about area rug, but do u plan to put one in dining area? Seems like it could visually use one. Beautiful space!

I really like your dining room and living room, but I agree with the others about choosing a semi-flush light for the sitting area and a pendant for over the dining table. I think a drum style would match your furniture best and lighten up your space.
