I've seen everything

I get that this must be a necessity. Don't get it.
No words needed here to describe "cross contamination" Just plain unsanitary.

Cross contamination isn't an issue in here due to the sink integrated in the top of the toilet, which runs fresh clean water out and then collects the soapy water in the tank to use for the toilet's next flush--at least, it's no more an issue than in any other bathroom, assuming you WASH YOUR HANDS in the sink after using the toilet and before turning on the shower! (Public restrooms are worse; you've got to unlock the stall door before you can get out to wash your hands.) Everything else in the room can be sprayed down with the showerhead.
