Don't be overwhelmed. It's a lovely room that could use a tweak or two. First, it looks like the sectional completely covers the window on the right. I would center it on that wall so it overlaps both windows an equal amount.

You need a longer media cabinet, or maybe just a floating shelf. Either way, the wall looks top-heavy at the TV.

Most of all, you need art over the sofa. This will inform the rest of the room. Window coverings, pillows, decor can all coordinate with the art. I'll return with some suggestions in a bit.

all you need is stuff on the walls! and i bet the fans are new...so i wont suggest lighter one. this room looks great!

what im really thinking, is about all the can lighting across the edge of the room, i would suggest replacing some of the trims with a modern eye ball, to wash the walls and art you put up. I might add light kits to the fans, for optional lighting when you do not want all those cans on. also can we get the bulbs flush with the ceiling rather than poking down?

i would go to a distressed light wood on the console for the tv. long enough to accessorize, maybe some floating shelves. or smaller group art around tv wall.

Draperies would be an excellent addition to the space among everything else mentioned. Agreed with the pillows for the accent chairs...lumbar pillows would be nice. Painting your ceiling would really make your moldings "pop" and if you aren't attached to the ottoman in front of the sectional, I would replace with a coffee table...maybe wood with a glass top since it doesn't look like you have any glass in the room yet. Mixing textures and finishes are always key to creating a room.

I was just wondering if you had tried turning the chairs facing the sofa out away from the French doors. The only thing I see is the room is not balanced because all of the larger furniture is on the same side. It is a great room!!
