add a light kit to your fan.

Is this makeable?

you need a contractor and a window guy.......

I know I need contractor, just looking for suggestions for type of window might look good in the area

I like the light tubes, wonder what the light would do to my wood floor shining down all day.

If you'd go more for windows, please round ones, they look better on your wall. Then, their style depends on your interior's style AND exterior. Check out these ideas

I did a design for a few customers, similar to what you looking to do. You can put a few windows on the wall matching ceiling slope, it will bring lots of light in the room and its a nice design feature in any home.
Here is a few images to give you an idea, one was for a bedroom and the other was for a kitchen.
