Hello. Yes, there is a floor drain in this shower, you just can't see it from this angle. The shower is long and narrow and there is a small curb that separates the shower floor for the rest of the bathroom. The interior entrance to the bathroom is barely visible on the left edge of the picture. The door we are seeing is an antique exterior door from Morocco, as is the grate in the window above it. This door leads out to the swimming pool. The door does get when from the shower but it is made from solid teak, so it doesn't mind. The rest of the bathroom does stay dry since the shower mainly faces the opposite wall and the door.

Thank you so much for asking : )

p.s. This door, grate, all of the tile and the custom vanity in the front right corner where all purchased at Badia Design in Los Angeles, they have wonderful finds!
