We excavate to a depth of approximately 6". We install a bed of crushed "grade 8" gravel and stone dust and compact it. We then put down a layer of course "torpedo" sand to a depth of 1.5". Stone is then leveled on the sand. Polymeric sand is then swept into the joints.

What size bluestone are these? Are they standard sizes or cut to size? Thanks.
