I am remodeling using a craftsman style in the kitchen. I am using quartersawn red oak for the cabinets. I am interested in using two coordinating granites, one with a lot of movement and color for 5 foot island and a gray'-tone for rest of countertops along wall. I want a colorful backsplash to pull out colors and create interest in a kitchen which will have a lot of woodwork. Any ideas on granites? I prefer grays to black.
