In searching Houzz I found a couple of article on this subject, but many of the featured items are no longer available. More importantly I am unable to find info on what constitutes quality in these areas. What do those x/x numbers for stainless steel mean? It is suggested to handle the flatware before buying, but where I have shopped most is securely packaged to prevent this. What is good quality everyday tableware made of. Etc? Anyone have input on this subject?
