The plan was to have 12 x 12 travertine tile laid diagonally for the shower ceiling. The installer now tells me that the tiles are too heavy and are falling from the ceiling. He recommends smaller tiles. I have seen larger tiles on shower ceilings. Does anyone have an idea of how to install travertine tiles in a shower ceiling to ensure they don't fall?
