We have a custom home and some of the things that were put in are: an outlet above the fireplace for a wreath during the holidays; dimmers on almost everything; I don't know if you like this, but we have electric candlelights for the windows that were prewired so you just put the candlestick on the flat fixture that is permanently on the window sill (no cords and they're on a timer that we control from a box in the basement); a gas line run underground to an outdoor grill and an outdoor firepit; the pedestal for the front loading washer and dryer built in so we didn't have to buy any; a built in secret wall safe; I don't know if you have a basement but the walkup to the outside comes up into the garage so that there is no outside access to basement sliding doors. There are more things but it's late and my mind's not working as well as usual. I'll post back if I remember anything.
