As you can see, attached is the layout of a new loft we are buying in LIC in New York City. We were thinking of beaking the walls of the home office area and creating that into a large living room with the gallery. We wanted to build the second bedroom where we have the current great room, but still want the sun light coming through the huge windows into the licing rooms - so would consider french door or sliding door. Any thoughts on additional lay outs? We would like to hire a general contractor to help us planning the ideal lay out of this condo.
