The backsplash you show in your pic is much too busy for your countertop and the color conflicts. Pick one color in the granite and use that for your backsplash. Consider going with a back painted glass for your backsplash. It has many advantages such as no grout lines, very simple plus you can select any color to paint the glass (that's why they call it 'back painted glass') It is not busy at all so your granite will be showcased. Here are samples installed so you get an idea of what it looks like. Pic #1 might actually work in your kitchen because it ties back to the cabinet color, but I can't tell from here. The rest of the colors don't work for your granite they are here to show you variety.
You can even put the glass over different materials like wood veneers.
