I would stay away from a dark wall with all the dark furniture. I like blue and chcolate brown. You could choose either if these types of patterns for drapes and then use the color of blue in the drapes to paint all the walls or just a couple of them blue and then the others a really pale gray if you like grays, I would for sure paint the curved wall blue. I would keep the drapery simple with grommets for hanging and a simple rod. use the blue somewhere in throw pillows on the sofas and if you choose the pillow with a lot of color it gives you choices for accents in the other rooms. If you send some pics of the rest of the space and your furniture it will be easier to help you.

Try a cool pattern. It is a wall that you can't hang pictures or art work because of the curve. It's perfect for a large pattern especially if you want to add a more modern look and make a statement. Here's a charcoal wall with a silver accent. Yes it's painted.
