Phenomenal explanation Always By Design! The only thing we would add is that it is important to know the weight of the door panel before going with whatever hardware you like.

Some hardware can only handle a certain weight load, which, if the door panel you really want surpasses that weight, you will end up with the door panel falling/the hardware failing on you, being forced to change the door design, or trying to return the hardware and have to find a new one.

That being said, we carry hardware for doors up to 550 lbs, or if you know the door is lighter, you can get the smaller hardware we have that can go up to 300 lbs. We also have a different style that can go up to 600 lbs. Our style that is most similar to the above is all solid steel (even the trolleys) and is powder coated to protect it.

Feel free to ask us any questions you may have!

This hardware for the window is a terrific idea! Bartels offers similar hardware by MWE this looks like the Supra system, but the stopper seems to be upside down!! http://www.bartelsdoors.com/PRODUCTS/Modern-Barn-Door-Hardware/Standard-Models/Supra-ST.1009.SU/%28offset%29/0

Lovely bathroom! The sliding hardware looks a lot like our stainless steel Swiss Rod Modern Sliding Hardware. Great idea!
