Love how it makes sense. Especially about setting the alarm 10 minutes earlier to get out of bed to open the window and start the day. Also to have a winding down ritual before bed that DOESN’T include the tv, but maybe start a prayer/gratitude journal or one that envisions the future.
Great ideas from the labeling to adding drawers to under the kitchen sink. Also, I enjoyed reading about establishing a closet for items rather than worry about sorting through it all to find what you need. Right now, we have brooms & mood hanging on the back of a door, but it sometimes is tough to squeeze through the door if we have an armload of stuff.
3. Attack kitchen drawers. “This one is easy — there is so much extra stuff you don’t need in the kitchen,” Ley says. “Take everything out and realize you don’t need three carrot peelers or two ice-cream scoops.” Keep a donation box or bag nearby so you can put extras in there right away. When you’re done, put the box or bag in your car so you’ll have it handy next time you drive by Goodwill.
