Like this fluted wood look but would have to talk to someone who has it re: how easy is it to keep clean?
Like the way they continue the wood around the TV to behind the shelves, but I would want a lighter wood than that - maybe the same wood as on the floors. Like the calm, relaxed feel of the room too. If it going to be such a focal point, then I would want the TV to be one that shows artwork when not in TV mode.
Cute looking chair & cats problem wouldn't go after it too much, but wonder if it's comfortable? And how easy is it to get back out of it?

Like this fireplace much better than the "before" one, although I think I'd go with a little lighter-colored tile (but still in the herringbone pattern).
I might've liked the random mix of tiles on fireplace with a different color scheme but with that wallpaper it's a horrid mess!
Like slatted back & is fairly upright - looks comfortable. But way too dark & very pricey!
