"Design Philosophy / Design Style
My design philosophy is to analyse problems through critical thinking in different scenarios to generate different solutions which could be then applied onto real life situations to solve and create a better world for the people.
My design style consists of a few variety of natural stones and wood textures as I feel that wood textures is able to bring a cosy and heart warming feel throughout the whole house while natural stones like marble could bring a balance between these materials. It can also include neutral tones and a final touch of contrasting colours if needed to elevate a specific area.
What inspired you to be a designer?
Experiencing and studying different types of situation everyday and creating different unique solutions sparks joy in me as it feels like a challenge that keep my passion burning. The vast amount of products in our world also change my thinking on how design can change and improve a person’s lifestyle or an environment inspired me to be a designer.
Who is your favourite designer/architect
Toyo Ito. He is a Japanese architect known for creating conceptual architecture, in which he seeks to simultaneously express the physical and virtual worlds. His works were inspired from organic form of
nature, prioritising fluidity between the natural world and the built form in his designs. His inspirations and design language is linked with the organic form of nature. The conceptual architecture works which he did over the years shows how he can inputs his inspiration and turn into reality. His architecture consists of organic modular shapes that can be connected with each other to provide a smooth flow within the architecture."
