Rustic Family House
Photo
The rock fireplace is a little overwhelming and I saw a cute one I can't find that had the wood stored in a cubby beneath the fireplace. But, I love the colors, love the stone floor, pretty much just love this 3-season porch for this project! I even like the Sonoma coloring of the wood in the furniture. Actually, here, I like the cream colored fabrics, too.

I do like these metal mesh panels for cupboards.

I thought about shutters for the porch for winter, but in the end this reminded me that faux wood (or real wood) blinds...at least in the bedrooms...are a good option.

Like the use of photos and found items

I do think these white curtains work in all kinds of decor, but especially rustic

I like that there are a ton of windows--always wanted that for this house--especially in summer!!

I love this! I love everything about this! Between Disney and Prop techniques, I'm learning that I can make any fixture the right patina if I want, too.

I like the light fixtures and it makes me think to look for harbor shanty decor.

Shiplap is super popular right now, and I wasn't in love with the idea until I saw this bedroom, because, in theright colors it works (again, a sagey green?) I also really like these lamps and I think it works as a metal color (like an antique gold?)

Better look at that rustic cupboard and I do love this table and chairs + the dish racks (but not in red). Hate the lamps--we'd be knocking those off. Love the chairs, but they don't look comfortable.

NGL, love the fish in the window above the door on the right. Also, that rustic "reclaimed" cupboard below the buffalo (?) fits his style perfectly.

I hate the colors, and especially those curtains! But, I like the open concept family-style of this kitchen and I like the use of the oar as decor. Fishing rods, too (although these are fly wheels).

Current coloring is different, but this is similar to the green I want to see on the inside and I like the shutters here. Even like the white curtain window treatments.

I like the shadowboxes of lures on the walls.

Don't love the blue (more like sage green) or the visual texture of the wood (more like honey oak), but love, love, love this idea for the house.
