Just the shelf portion. The visual weight is good here too. we could have 2 columns on each side. It might look a little too Kallax, but if it takes the full width of the space, and looks good and built-in, it shouldn't...

This is in line ase well. Wide, open shelves. A little cabinet or deeper section at the bottom could work well maybe? Definitely do not want the beadboard, but the scale is good.

These builtins appear more open. Thinner lines, thinner carcassing & trim. The shelf spacing itself is appropriate, but something about it works well.
