Stained columns and the open rafters great look and stringed lighting would be really cool here along with the trellises from the other image (but stained)

IMAGE A: Can a matching roof like this have a pitched/open look of IMAGE B from underneath? Also, like the addition of trellis for possible planters with vines. Not white support beams. Either dark painted slate to match new house trim or stained wood. (SI) This is a great idea to make the walkway more interesting! And yes we can make the ceiling vaulted
